Are Your Not Entertained? is a newsletter about science fiction. I write about things I've recently read or seen, classic science fiction, scifi tropes, and other assorted topics. I also include updates about my writing.

I was lucky enough to inherit an incurable curiosity about technology and a tremendous love of science fiction from my father. Both led to a career repairing radars in the U.S. Army, followed by another as a programmer on Wall Street. Now, I write about technology during the day and write on my own time.

My first three novels, Shadows of the Past, Clouds in the Future, and Murder in Soft Words, are available today.
